In the beginning...

I am creating this blog for various purposes, the main purpose is to aid the users of Saleslogix and those supporting/selling it. I will also touch on other products including Sage CRM and Crystal Reports with a view to extending this further in the future.

Saleslogix is a powerful customer relationship management tool which can be as complex or as simple as is required. I currently work as a CRM support consultant for a major business partner in the north west and intend to use this blog as an aid to myself as much as anyone else.

I am inundated with customer requests for help with issues that could easily be avoided had they been given training or even just pointed in the right direction. With this in mind i will be posting use full training videos and help files, covering many aspects of the software.

Many issues encountered within the software have been seen many times before and therefore have well documented fixes. I will be posting those which occur regularly with instructions on how to effectively troubleshoot and resolve these issues yourself.

As well as the information that will be available in the blog I intend to host Live sessions for discussion of various topics and also live demonstrations. The subject of these is open to your input and your suggestions are welcome.
